Discover a Path to Well-Being

Meet Breona

I am a licensed mental health clinician with experience supporting individuals across the lifespan. My professional background includes work in outpatient therapy, intensive community-based programs, and leadership roles within behavioral health services. I am licensed in Maryland, Michigan, and New Jersey, and I bring both clinical expertise and genuine compassion into the work I do.

My therapeutic approach is integrative and client-centered. I draw from Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Inference-Based CBT (I-CBT), and Motivational Interviewing. I believe meaningful change happens in a space that feels safe, collaborative, and nonjudgmental, where you are respected as the expert on your own experiences.

In your first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other, understanding what brought you to therapy, and identifying goals in a supportive, nonjudgmental space. I’ll explain my approach and collaborate with you on next steps at a pace that feels comfortable and respectful.

I specialize in working with individuals experiencing Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), anxiety disorders like phobias, social anxiety, panic disorder, and generalized anxiety (GAD), depression, trauma-related concerns, and difficulties with emotional regulation, relationships, and communication. I also support clients who feel stuck in cycles of overthinking, self-doubt, or the need to feel in control.

Above all, I aim to help clients feel grounded, empowered, and truly seen. Therapy with me is not about “fixing” you. It’s about building insight, skills, and self-trust so you can move forward with greater clarity and resilience.
